I'm 17 and have just found out I am 21 weeks pregnant, meaning it's too late for abortion. I don't want the baby at all I don't even want to carry it. But my only option is adoption I presume now. The father and I do not speak therefore he is unaware I am pregnant. I'm in a very difficult situation as I do not want it at all and I'm still at college, but obviously there is no other choice for me.

The legal limit for abortion in UK is 24 weeks, but realistically abortions after 20 weeks are much more limited and usually only done in London. There is also increased medical risks of having a late abortion so this may not be a good option for you. Adoption may be a positive option for you if you have decided that you don't want to be a mother at this time. I think it would be worth you talking all this through with someone impartial either Online, on the helpline or at a Centre. for unplanned pregnancy support.
