Pregnant at 13

I fell pregnant at 13 do you believe that 13. My friend at the same time found out that she was too. We where both so scared. I went through with the pregnancy. My friend however took the pill to get rid of it. I'm now 16 and struggling to keep up with a 3 year old boy. My boyfriend left the country as he didn't want anything to do with EJ. Of course I had to have an op to get the baby out, but I coped fine looking after my baby; sure it was hard but I got through it. School was the hardest. Everyone calling you names. It's horrible. So anyone that's young, please think before you have sex.

You were very brave to continue your pregnancy. I must have been hard being at school with pupils who were unsupportive. You know who your real friends are in a situation like that! I think it is really important not to be pressurised into sex,and its illegal under 16 so the law is there to protect young people from being pressurised. No contraception is 100% safe, however there are very good long acting contraceptive methods like the implant that have a very low failure rate, and if you are in a sexual relationship you should consider this as well as condoms to protect you from STI's.
